Building Workforce Futures Together

Why now

Rooted in purpose, growing together.

  • Shifting labor markets and funding gaps demand coordinated, field-level learning.
  • Employers need talent pathways that translate to living-wage roles.
  • Pilots exist—what’s missing is shared questions, comparable data, and scaling.

Coalition commitments

Shared learning

Agree on 3–5 questions (e.g., which models best connect youth to jobs; credentials + employer partnerships that persist).

Pilot & compare

Support industry-driven pilots (NY, CT, + others). Pool or align funds; standardize light-touch metrics.

Open insights

Publish brief notes/tools for the field; propose a PEAK session to share results.

How it works (draft)

  • Time-box: 9–12 months, with quarterly share-outs.
  • Structure: small steering huddle (funders + practitioners + employer rep).
  • Funding: pooled or aligned—your choice; focus is on learning, not attribution.
  • Geography: New York, Connecticut, and at least three additional states.
  • Fit with apprenticeships: aligns with related instruction + employer-led projects.
