Turning Disruption into Opportunity for Growth

This past summer, when Job Corps—the federal education and career training program for young people ages 16–24—faced massive program disruptions and possible closure, Youthful Impact quickly acted.

We launched a hands-on model that kept students’ training, confidence, and career momentum on track.

The pilot was funded by the Capital Region Workforce Board, community donors, and employers..

Now, we need your help to scale it.

Too many young people in our neighborhoods are on a dead-end path. Your support allows us to unlock the potential of all youth aged 14 to 24: We help them (whether they're currently in school or navigating life on their own) to earn a real paycheck and build a secure future.
