Chelsea’s Communal Healing Spaces

YFI Graduate success story by Chelsey

A Stand for Mental Health

Chelsey, a 17-year old senior high school student, started a non-profit organization called the Communal Healing Place, where they will be providing mental health resources, information, and education to black women across the United States.

Why it’s important

She found out about the Youthful Impact program through her church. YFI “taught me a lot about putting my ideas on paper, having a vision, and making a plan.”

The coaches brought to light some of the things that I needed to improve on in my business plan. Also meeting again with the peer mentors who were successful entrepreneurs my age helped me identify the problem even more.”
